Cir no. 2/IBT/Symposium/ANGRAU/ 2009-10
Dated: 29.01.2010
Dear Sir/Madam, Greetings!
As we are gearing up for the national symposium on
"Genomics and Crop Improvement: Relevance and Reservations" to be held from 25-27 February, 2010 at Hyderabad, I am glad to inform you that to encourage the participation of students, the organizing committee has decided to
reduce the registration fee for students to
Rs. 500/- from Rs. 1000/- and the
last date for receipt for abstract has been now
extended to 06.02.2010.
I am also happy to inform that the resource persons accepted our invitation and we are soon going to bring out the 2nd circular with technical program details.
As you may be aware of the political unrest and frequent disturbances in the state of Andhra Pradesh in the past two months, which might have led to apprehensions with regard to visiting Hyderabad, I am pleased to inform that the situation is now cooled down and we had no disturbance in the state during the past two weeks.
Therefore, it is requested to kindly encourage your students and faculty to actively participate and
get benefited from the deliberations at the symposium. It may kindly be noted that students can send their abstracts directly to
ibtangrau@gmail.com latest by February 6, 2010.
With best regards,
Yours sincerely,
