QUALIFICATIONS
1. Dean of Post Graduate Studies
Essential:
a) A Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Science / Home Science.
b) A Ph.D. Degree or equivalent Degree in any of the branches of Agriculture Science / Home Science.
c) A minimum of twenty years of experience in teaching / research / extension in Agriculture Science / Home Science out of which atleast five years should be as Professor / Principal Scientist / Associate Director of Research or equivalent.
d) Significant professional achievement in his / her filed of specialization by activity.
Desirable:
a) Experience of Teaching Post-Graduate students in the course credit system.
b) Knowledge and experience of organizing and administering educational programmes.
The term of appointment shall be five years or till 60 years of age, whichever is earlier.
2. Dean of Student Affairs
Essential:
a) A Ph.D. degree or any other equivalent doctorate degree.
b) A minimum of five years of experience as professor or its equivalent cadre in
any Agricultural University.
Desirable:
a) Wide experience of student problems, management and placement.
b) Training and experience in organizing co-curricular and extra-curricular
activities of students.
Period of appointed of Dean of student Affairs in the manner prescribed in statute 5 of first statute hold office for a period of 3 years from the date of assumption of charge or till superannuation whichever is earlier.
The term of appointment is for a period of 3 years or till the incumbent attains the age of 60 years, whichever is earlier.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. The University reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts advertised.
2. The discipline to which the Ph.D. degree belongs to shall be decided based on the research work carried out by the candidate for his / her degree.
3. For reckoning the required experience for the post, the experience in the concerned subject or discipline in Teaching or Extension or Research shall only be considered as relevant experience.
4. Certified copies of degree or provisional certificates and marks sheet / Transcripts should be enclosed to the application. The originals should be brought at the time of interview.
5. While filling up of the application form Part B.
i) Under item No.2 (meant for details of qualifications) the period of studies should be indicated clearly with date, month and year of joining and leaving studies. If any of the applicants did their M.Sc. or Ph.D. by research, it should be clearly indicated.
ii) Under item No.6 (meant for employment record) the applicant should furnish the details of service rendered by the applicant in different cadres (i.e.) clearly, with date, month and year of appointment and scale of pay and pay drawn and also should indicate awarding of CAS / MERIT PROMOTION particulars clearly. The period of study during the service should be indicated clearly.
iii) Service rendered outside ANGRAU, if any, should be clearly indicated.
iv) A certificate showing proof thereof should be enclosed.
v) Enclose 5 sets of Research & Publication Papers and other educational certificates along with Part B Application.
6. Applicants other than those in the service of ANGRAU should send their applications through proper channel so as to reach the University within the prescribed date.
7. The in-service candidates of ANGRAU may send their applications direct.
8. Applicants should appear for interview, when called, at their own cost.
9. Selected candidates will be governed by ANGRAU (conditions of service) Regulations 1965 and such other conditions as may be prescribed by the University from time to time.
The University reserves the right not to fill all or any of the vacancies notified. Prescribed application forms together with full details of qualifications for the posts can be had from the University on payment of Rs.1000/- for others and Rs.500/- for SC & ST in person or through a crossed demand draft in favour of "COMPTROLLER, ANGRAU, HYDERABAD". MONEY ORDER/POSTAL ORDER WILL BE NOT ENTERTAINED. For obtaining it by post a self-addressed and stamped envelope of Rs.40/- of the size 35x15 cm should be enclosed to the requisition letter. The envelop containing the requisition for application form should be superscribed "REQUISITION FOR APPLICATION" and sent to "THE REGISTRAR, ANGRAU, HYDERABAD 500 030." Sale of applications begins from 06- 08-2010. The last date for sale of applications by post is 25-08-2010 and the last date for sale of application and filled in application should reach the undersigned on or before 31- 08 - 2010 by 4.00 PM.
