The University Extension services are mainly focused on the following front line Extension activities |

Testing and verification of new technologies developed at research stations in farmers fields, through on farm trials, on farm research and adaptive trials.

Organizing first line demonstrations, Kisan Melas, exhibitions, farmer-scientist Interaction meetings.

Processing and publication of technical information and dissemination through publications, mass media such as press, radio and T. V. Channels for benefit of farmers and extension personnel.

Supervision of the Rural
Agricultural Work Experience Programme (RAWEP),
training of farmers and extension personnel
of state development departments. Extension
methodologies and strategies are the other
extension activities of the university.
