The revised UGC Pay Scales of 2006 has been implemented in the University vide reference 2nd cited. The eligible teachers as on 31.12.2011 are requested to send their filled in application forms 5 sets on or before 31.01.2012 in the prescribed proforma through proper channel for placement in Assistant Professor (Stage 1 to stage 2) / Assistant Professor (Stage 2 to Stage 3) Assistant Professor to Associate Professor (Stage 3 to Stage 4) / Associate Professor to Professor (Stage 4 to Stage 5) / Professor to Professorship (Stage 5 to Stage 6) as per Career Advancement Scheme Regulations 2006.
All the Associate Deans of Colleges, Associate Directors of Research and Heads of Research Stations / Schemes are requested to bring to the notice of all the Teachers / Scientists working under their control.
The service rendered in outside agencies as specified in the regulations communicated in the ref.4th cited, including the service rendered in Government / Quasi Government will be considered only if evidence in support of such service is enclosed to the application. The service certificate including, pay particulars should be indicated. Any claims and representations for considering such service after the due date will not be entertained.
The applicants are requested to furnish the copies of qualifications obtained and last date of viva-voce exam held, which is essential to consider Ph.D qualification.
The Associate Deans of Colleges, Associate Directors of Research and Heads of Research Stations / Schemes are therefore requested to certify the service particulars and details of leave availed, by the candidates by verifying the same with their Service Registers and certify the correctness of the particulars furnished in the application in the prescribed proforma and forward the same with their endorsement to the University on or before 31-01-2012. In the column 15 of application relating to leave particulars it should not be indicated as "Not applicable" or left blank. It has to be indicated clearly whether any leave i.e Earned Leave / HPL / EOL (without pay & allowances) is availed, if not "Nil" has to be indicated. The Heads of Offices are responsible for any wrong information furnished by the applicants.
The Heads of Offices are requested to verify the particulars thoroughly while forwarding the applications. Any lapse in this regard will be viewed seriously and Heads of Offices and concerned teacher will be held responsible for the lapse.
The intending candidates are directed to submit their applications well in advance to the concerned Associate Deans / Associate Director of Research Stations to certify by the Internal Quality Assessment Cells (IQACs) as per instructions issued in the reference 5th cited.
The applications received after due date will not be considered. Those who applied earlier in response to Cir.Memo.No.3rd cited in 1st batch are need not to apply once again.
