Objectives / Mandate |
A. Two year diploma course, in Agriculture Polytechnic was started at Agriculture Research station campus, Podalakur during the year 2005 with an annual intake of 25 students. The students are admitted on merit basis. This course was established with the following objectives.
1. To educate the rural youth in Agriculture and allied subjects for providing self employment.
2. To Train the man power to serve as base level functionaries in various Government and Non Government agencies involved in Agriculture and other rural development activities. |
